Terms & Conditions

  1. Offer Expiry: All who intend to participate in the challenge must register by December 15, 2022 when the promo ends.
  2. Validity period: participants have a maximum of 3 months to close the deal with respective organizations. Deals closed after offer validity expiry will attract lower commissions and will not qualify for the advertised cash payments.
  3. Payment in two (2) installments: To eliminate fraud and ensure there is follow-through on deals, Intron splits each prize payment into 2 installments. The first payment is made when the hospital or organization agrees to upgrade (signs at least one-year contract with Intron). The balance is paid when the hospital actually kicks off the upgrade (at least 1 month).
  4. Providing accurate information: Since the prize tiers are based on the number of patients/users per day, should you succeed, total prize money paid will depend on the actual number of patients realized during hospital onboarding/kick-off. Wide differences between reported and actual numbers could lead to disqualification. Any intentionally falsified information discovered could lead to disqualification.
  5. Working as a Team/group: in cases where a team or group work together to close a deal, the prize money will either be sent to the team lead (primary contact person) or distributed between team members based on their relative contribution as reported by the team lead.
  6. Multiple people for one organization: In cases where multiple people register the same organization and the deal eventually succeeds, multiple people may attempt to claim the prize. To validate such claims, the authorized representative from the hospital will confidentially report to us on the key person(s) that drove the deal. If multiple people are involved, the prize money will be shared between participants based on their relative contribution as reported by the hospital authorized representative.
  7. Logistic costs: Except in a limited number of extreme cases, we will not separately cover costs (e.g. data, travel, airtime) incurred while trying to close deals. The prize money is designed to cover all costs incurred while closing the deal.
  8. Payment method: bank transfer only. Intron will pay the prize money to winners either via cheque or directly into a valid government bank account provided through a separate secure form available only to winners. Prize will be paid directly into a bank account domiciled in an African country in local currency. Payment channels such as paypal or other wallets will not be accepted. Cash payments will not be made.
  9. Hospital hardware requirements: to support a successful digital transition, reliable, well-maintained technology infrastructure must be available to the hospital. Hospitals can choose between an online/offline version of the application depending on their confidence level in their internet connection. In both cases, workstations and daytime electricity are needed for a successful and sustained deployment. If the offline option is preferred, hospitals will require additional networking infrastructure such as a server and local wired/wireless network. Hospitals can choose to acquire the required hardware through a trusted local vendor, contract this managed service to Intron or work with an Intron-approved local vendor.
  10. Hospital onboarding and payment: the Intron application is a paid service and hospitals are required to pay a minimal setup fee as well as monthly subscription fees. Select hospitals may be granted a one-month trial of the application to explore the application’s capabilities. Only paid contracts are eligible for the prize
  11. Maximum payments per person: there is no maximum number of deals. Prize money will be paid as long as the offer lasts.
  12. Organizations with multiple sites: hospitals or organizations with multiple sites will be considered based strictly on the number of patients served per day under each contract. Participants can choose to submit separate smaller deals for different departments or sites within a large organization or consolidate all deals into a single contract.
  13. Organization location restriction: There is no location restriction for hospitals / organizations. Referrals are allowed across countries. Only exceptions are countries sanctioned by the US government as detailed here.
  14. Privacy policy (how we use the information you provide): Intron will never sell your information or share with unauthorized third parties. All information provided will be kept strictly confidential in keeping with our privacy policies here.
